SanPedro Valley Obseravtory, Benson, Arizona

The observatory was well built by professional builders with many years of experence in construction.  The observatory houses two telescopes owned by Dr. Randy Davdson and me. The roof automated using a garage door opener with cear views in the southern part of the sky. The five megabit download and one megabit upload speed makes remote image nicely. With staff on the property all the time gettin something fixed does not take very long.

Davidson-Salman Observatory

In October 2011, we became the first clients to have our telescopes put into a private observatory on the grounds of the San Pedro Valley Observatory located just east of Benson, Arizona.  The many clear nights low cost rental for the observatory were the main reason that this location was selected.  It is also close to my home in Tucson which was another reason.

Dean's telescope is an 8 inch F/4 Intes MakNewt astrograph. The camera is a QSI 583 WSG using a Lodestar autoguider. Randy's telescope is an 12.5 inch F/8 Plain Wave Reflector. The camera is a QHY9 using a Lodestar autoguider.
